Terms and conditions

Last updated : 29 août 2026

This is a translation provided for your convenience. Karrib is a French company: only the French version of these documents has legal force.

These terms apply to every request made on karrib. By sending a request, you accept them.

1. Who we are

AN prestation, entreprise individuelle exploitée par Nazim Aidoud, 17 rue du Chemin de Fer, boîte 22, 93500 Pantin, SIREN 904 925 393.

Contact: contact@karrib.com.

2. What Karrib does

Karrib carries out, in Algeria and on your behalf, services that you describe freely: purchases and deliveries, settling bills, administrative paperwork, helping a relative, checking on a property, and more generally any lawful and feasible task.

Karrib acts in your name. Karrib is not a public authority, a bank, or a carrier.

3. How a request works

You describe what you need and create an account. At that stage nothing is owed and nothing is committed.

We check that the request can be done and send you a firm price and a deadline.

The contract is formed only when you accept that quote and pay. Before then, either side is free.

We may decline a request, in particular if it is unlawful, impossible, or if the information given is insufficient. In that case you are charged nothing.

4. Prices and VAT

Prices are in euros. The quote shows the amount excluding tax, the VAT that applies, and the total payable.

VAT depends on your country of residence as you declared it. An inaccurate declaration remains your responsibility.

The price covers the whole mission described in the quote. Any additional work is the subject of a new quote.

5. Payment

Payment is made online by card, through an authorised provider. Your banking details are never seen or stored by Karrib.

Payment by bank transfer may be accepted; the mission then starts only once the funds have actually arrived.

An invoice is issued for every payment.

6. Deadlines

Two options exist: standard, within 72 hours, and express, within 24 hours.

⚠️ That deadline runs from PAYMENT, and covers the HANDLING of your request — that is, Karrib taking it on and carrying it out. It is not a postal delivery deadline, nor a deadline binding on any public authority.

Some missions depend on third parties we do not control: government counters, shopkeepers, carriers. Where such a delay applies, it is stated in the quote.

No liability arises in the event of force majeure: strikes, administrative closures, disasters, or interruption of telecommunications.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have fourteen days to withdraw, without giving a reason, from the conclusion of the contract. Simply write to us at contact@karrib.com.

⚠️ HOWEVER: by accepting the quote and paying, you expressly ask for the service to begin immediately, before those fourteen days have elapsed. You therefore acknowledge, under Article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code, that you LOSE your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.

If you withdraw after the mission has begun but before it is finished, you owe us the amount corresponding to what has already been done, in proportion to the service supplied.

This waiver is shown to you again at the moment of payment, and you must confirm it before paying.

8. What we will not do

Karrib refuses any unlawful mission, and in particular: carrying or sending cash, exchanging currency, obtaining documents by irregular means, representing anyone before a court, and any act reserved to a regulated profession.

Karrib does not handle a third party's identity documents without a proper power of attorney.

9. Your obligations

You must provide accurate and complete information. A wrong address, a misspelt name or an incorrect account number can make the mission impossible: the fee then remains due.

You warrant that you are entitled to entrust us with the mission, and that the person concerned agrees where that person is a third party.

10. Liability

Karrib undertakes to use every necessary means to carry out the mission properly.

⚠️ For administrative paperwork, Karrib's undertaking is an obligation of MEANS, not of result: whether a document is issued depends on an Algerian authority, its rules and its timescales, none of which Karrib controls.

Where we are at fault, our liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the mission concerned.

Karrib is not liable for indirect loss, in particular a lost opportunity caused by a delay at a public authority.

11. Complaints and mediation

Send any complaint to contact@karrib.com. We answer within fifteen days.

If the disagreement persists, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The mediator's details will appear here once appointed.

You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.

12. Personal data

How your data is handled is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings where you live.
