This is a translation provided for your convenience. Karrib is a French company: only the French version of these documents has legal force.
Karrib handles information about your family: names, addresses, sometimes official documents. Here is exactly what we do with it, and what we do not.
1. Who is responsible
AN prestation, entreprise individuelle exploitée par Nazim Aidoud, at 17 rue du Chemin de Fer, boîte 22, 93500 Pantin, French company number (SIREN) 904 925 393, is the controller of your personal data.
For any question about your data, write to contact@karrib.com.
2. What we collect
Your account: full name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and an irreversible fingerprint of your password — never the password itself.
Your request: the text you write, the wilaya and town concerned, and, if you give them to us, the name, phone number and address of the person the service is for.
Your payment: the amount, the date and the billing country. Your card details never pass through our servers — they are entered directly with our payment provider.
Technical data: your IP address and browser type, kept briefly to prevent abuse and automated submissions.
3. Why
To carry out the service you ask for, send you a quote, reply to you, and keep you informed of progress.
To issue your invoices and meet our accounting and tax obligations.
To protect the site: limiting automated submissions and spotting intrusion attempts.
We sell no data to anyone, and we send no advertising.
4. Legal basis
Performance of our contract, for everything concerning your request and your account.
A legal obligation, for keeping invoices.
Our legitimate interest in protecting the site, for technical data.
5. Who has access
The Karrib team, limited to what your request requires.
The subcontractors who carry out the mission in Algeria — a shopkeeper, a courier, someone handling paperwork — to whom we pass ONLY what they need in order to act: rarely more than the recipient's name, address and phone number.
Our payment provider, our email service, and the site's host, each for its own part.
An artificial intelligence service, which helps us prepare our replies. The text of your request may be submitted to it for analysis and translation. It is not used to train models.
6. Your data goes to Algeria
That is the very point of the service: the mission is carried out on the ground, so some information is passed to people located in Algeria.
Algeria is not covered by a European Commission adequacy decision. This transfer relies on Article 49 GDPR: it is necessary for the performance of the contract you ask us to enter into.
We keep the transfer to the strict minimum, and we never pass on your password, your payment details, or the history of your other requests.
7. How long we keep it
Your account and your requests: for as long as your account exists, then three years after your last request.
Invoices and accounting records: ten years, as the law requires.
Technical security data: twelve months at most.
You may ask for your account to be deleted at any time; invoices already issued must still be kept.
8. Your rights
You may access your data, correct it, ask for it to be erased, obtain a portable copy, object to processing, or ask that it be restricted.
Write to contact@karrib.com: we answer within one month.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, www.cnil.fr), or to the authority in your own country.
9. Cookies
Karrib uses one cookie only: the one that keeps you signed in. It is essential to the site and disappears when you sign out.
We use no analytics, no advertising and no trackers of any kind. That is why this site does not ask you to accept cookies — there is nothing to accept.
10. Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted. Passwords are stored as an irreversible fingerprint: nobody, not even us, can read them back.
Access to the back office is restricted and logged.
11. Minors
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly create an account for a minor.
12. Changes
This policy may change. The version published here applies, and its update date appears at the top of this page.
